All your
numbers
in one view
syncsulin reads your sensor, your insulin and the rest of your day, and shows you what they look like together. Built for people who want to keep an eye on their numbers, in particular people living with diabetes.
Photograph your meal
Point the camera at your plate. syncsulin recognises the food and logs it with macronutrients and micronutrients. Your food library grows as you go.
Your numbers on the lock screen
Widgets in several sizes put your latest reading where you already look, without opening the app.
Reads your sensor and Apple Health
Dexcom through the official interface, plus glucose, steps, heart rate and sleep from Apple Health. In the background, with your permission.
Time in range, at a glance
A ring on the home screen shows how much of the day you spent in your range, next to average glucose, insulin and carbs.
The feed writes itself
Readings, doses, meals, activity and cycle entries arrive in order, ready to read back in the evening.
Your cycle belongs in the picture
Cycle days sit next to glucose and insulin instead of living in a separate app.
Your day, as it happened
CGM, insulin, meals, steps and sleep on the same timeline.
Personal Dashboard
Average glucose, steps, sleep, carbs and insulin, right next to the curve that produced them.
Log insulin, food & more
Doses, meals, manual readings and cycle data. A few taps, and the entry sits where the rest of the day is.
Built for people living with diabetes
syncsulin is made by a small team in Düsseldorf, together with people who live with Type 1 every day. You decide what your numbers mean. The app makes them easy to see.
Your data stays yours
syncsulin reads data only with your permission, and nothing leaves the app unless you send it yourself.
For further details, read our privacy policy.
GDPR from the ground up
syncsulin was built to the European data protection rules from the start. You can see what is stored, export it, and delete your account with everything in it.
Hosted in Europe
Everything is stored and processed on servers inside the European Union.
No selling, no advertising
We do not sell your data and we do not run ads on it. Sharing with a doctor or a family member happens only when you say so.
Questions people ask
-
We are in the development and testing phase. The first version will be in the App Store soon, and we are already working on what comes after it. Leave your email above and we will tell you the day it is out.
-
Both. syncsulin reads compatible CGMs, pumps and smart pens, and you can log doses by hand as well. Whether your insulin comes from a pump or from a pen, it sits on the same timeline as the rest of your day.
-
No. Forecasting is the subject of our research programme, which we run with the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione at the University of Padua. This work is not part of the syncsulin app. What syncsulin does today is bring the day together so that you can see it yourself.
-
You do not need them. Your phone, your CGM and what you log yourself already fill the day. Wearables add steps, heart rate and sleep, and you can connect them later at any time.
-
It brings your entries and your device data into one record, so you can read your own days back in one place. Nothing leaves the app unless you send it, and you decide whether your data may also be used to train our models.
-
Yes. Meals, doses, manual readings and cycle entries go in with a few taps, and they sit in the same feed as the data from your devices.
-
Your data is encrypted, and it is stored and processed on servers inside the European Union. We work to the European data protection rules. You can see what is stored, export it, and delete your account with everything in it.

No. We do not sell your data and we do not run ads on it. Sharing with a doctor or a family member happens only when you say so.
-
No. syncsulin does not monitor your values and does not send warnings. Your CGM app stays the place for that. syncsulin brings the day together so you can read it back.
-
No. syncsulin is a lifestyle and logging app, not a medical device. It does not give medical advice and does not replace your diabetes team.
-
It is built around type 1, and that is where the work goes first. If you live with another type of diabetes and want your numbers in one place, the app works for that too.

What we are building, day by day.
Backed & partnered
We are financially backed by private investors and financing partners, which allow us to independently develop our models with internal machine-learning specialists and in research cooperation with the Università di Padova.
We are still a small start-up, and the funds are limited. Every euro we spend is a decision about what gets built now and what has to wait. As founders, we take no salary, and everything that comes in goes into development. If you believe in what we are doing, your support would mean the world to us, and it is what keeps us independent.
